Is Emma Watson Joining the MCU?

Yes! Just as you just read it. Good news that many fans of the Harry Potter movies surely will love.

For those of you who don't know Emma Watson, she is an award-winning French-born British actress, model and activist who was appointed a UN Women Goodwill Ambassador in June 2014.

Emma is particularly recognized from a young age for her iconic lead character Hermione Granger from 2001 in the world-famous Harry Potter films. Thanks to her performance in "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone", the first film in the series, it allowed her to win the Young Artist Award in the category of Best Young Lead Performance.

After eight years of a successful acting career in "Harry Potter", Watson participated in several projects such as: My Week with Marilyn which was nominated for the Golden Globe in 2011. In The Perks of Being a Wallflower in 2012, Watson portrayed a teenager named Sam, for which Emma received the People's Choice Award for Favorite Dramatic Actress, and the award for Best Supporting Actress from the San Diego Film Critics Society.

At 31, Watson has temporarily retired from the cinema to be able to dedicate herself to her activist projects. But ... Could it be that her return to the big screen will be joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe?

There are certain rumors emerging that the BA in English Literature from the prestigious Brown University and UN Ambassador Emma Watson could be part of the cast of one of the most acclaimed films that many fans are eagerly awaiting.

After being recognized as one of the best for her character Hermione in the magical "Harry Potter" saga, the actress could once again play another magical being in the new Marvel Studios film "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness", next to premiere on May 6, 2022.

Sources assure that the beautiful Watson could be summoned to give life to a very special character who ironically is also magical and powerful. It is about a witch from the comics named Clea, who accompanies Doctor Strange in all his adventures and exploits in his attempt to save the world with her magic.

What is better than the talented British actress who once captivated all of us with her incredible performance of the smartest and most cunning witch of all, we are sure that with her professionalism and versatility she would make the witch Clea an iconic character. We can only wait for more news, or wait for its premiere in the next year 2022 to reaffirm or deny what these rumors are saying, we just have to bear in mind that Marvel Studios takes up its stories from the comics, and that always is innovating and surprising its loyal fans.
