Attack on Titan Season 4 Finale

February 3, 2023

By Soyombo Pelumi

Introduction

Attack on Titan is a Japanese dark fantasy series filled with suspense, action and a whole lot of drama. Cheers to 10 years of Attack on Titan. Yes, I’m just as surprised as you are. I honestly can't believe it has been 10 years of this masterpiece. I’m sure you would agree with me that It has been a wonderful experience and I don't think I'm ready to come to terms with the fact that AOT will be ending this year. This series was adapted from the manga written and illustrated by a legend named Hajime Isayama. The first episode of Attack on Titan was released on April 7th 2013 and the final part of Season 4 will be released this year. The final season was produced by MAPPA, chief directed by Jun Shishido and Yuichiro Hayashi replacing Tetsuro Araki and Masashi Koizuka respectively.

Hajime Isayama is a Japanese manga artist whose first series, Attack on Titan, has become one of the best selling manga series of all time with millions of copies sold world wide. The author has won several awards for this manga series and is widely recognized by weebs around the world for creating this masterpiece. Hajime Isayama launched the original Attack on Titan manga in Kodanasha’s Bessatsu shonen magazine in 2009 and ended the series in April 2021.

At this point, we can all say that MAPPA has been doing a really good job since they took over Attack on Titan production from WIT. A lot of Attack on Titan fans were worried that the change of studios would affect the visual quality of the series. The opposite was the case. MAPPA has successfully exceeded my expectations. Attack on Titan has always been visually pleasing while WIT was in charge, but now that MAPPA has taken over, you can notice the change in the graphics which is more visually pleasing in my opinion. MAPPA and its production team has been doing an amazing job and we hope to see more of their efforts in the finale.

Attack on Titan season 4 Part 3 to  premiere in 2023

The announcement was made on the official Attack on Titan Twitter page after the broadcast of the final episode of Attack on Titan: The Final Season Part 2 in Japan. The announcement came in the form of a tweet that included a new piece of promotional art for the final season, as well as a brief teaser trailer for what, if the name of this part is to be believed, will be the ending of the anime series that will have been ongoing for a decade by the time the Final Arc comes out. I can’t wait to see what the final part of this series would look like. I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed and hope the series won’t end in a tragedy.

MAPPA released a message on the 17th of January stating that Attack on Titan the final season part 3 will be released on March 3rd, 2023. However, due to the bulk of production, the season finale will be divided into 2 parts (Part 1 and part2). Here

I don’t know about you guys, but I don't know how I'll explain to my non-anime friends that I'm waiting to watch Attack on Titan season 4 part 3 part 1 and part 2. I would admit that’s kind of confusing.

The Rumbling

“I’m going to wipe every last one of them off the face of the earth”- This was the last thing Eren thought about in the last episode of part 2 (Episode 87- The Dawn of Humanity). The rumbling shows that even though  Eren saved his friends and allies, he’s still going to destroy the world and all his enemies with it. We can also see that Eren’s friends are trying so hard to stop the rumbling from causing more damage. Will they succeed in their endeavors? Or will Eren succeed in reducing his enemies to nothing? Part 3 is about to wreck us all permanently! Bodies are being reduced to nothing, titans are destroying everything in their path. Eren is about to wreak havoc and I'm literally shaking in anticipation.

What does freedom mean to you? Because Eren has taught me a different meaning to freedom. Eren is so determined to eliminate all forms of life outside the island as he believes that’s the only way he and his friends can truly be free.

Eren has always been a walking red flag, but I’m kind of color blind so I don't see any red flags… They all look the same. Eren has always pursued what he believes in and if this is what he means by freedom then I’m 100% ready for the finale.

Attack on Titan Special Event

Attack on Titan prepares to unveil a special event for the part 3 of the final season which would serve as a final conclusion to the series that started back in 2013.  The Special Event will commemorate  Hajime Isayama’s Attack On Titan manga to which the 3rd part is due for adaptation. The Attack on Titan Special Event will take place in Tokyo’s Tachikawa Stage Garden.

The event will have an orchestra concert featuring composer Kohta Yamamoto and the pair of ending-theme performers, Yuko Ando and Ai Higuchi.

POV: We’re watching one of the greatest plot twists in all of fiction and I catch you on your phone!

*Insert Eren’s death stare* Wait, WHAT!? Are you kidding me? Of all the crimes a person could commit this has to be the WORST! My advice to my fellow weebs out there that would be watching AOT Season 4 part 3: avoid watching the show with people like this…. It’s obviously going to have a really emotional ending.

About the author: My name is Franklin Ifeanyi. I am someone who likes to help people; I hope to do that with writing.
